Nights of Lights
If you’re planning a visit to America’s oldest city during the holidays, the yearly Nights of Lights that takes place here will have you beaming long after it's over. Influenced by the Spanish tradition of placing a lit candle on a window sill in a symbolic lighting of the way to usher in Christmas, the City of St. Augustine, Florida will be hosting its 31st Annual Nights of Lights and Nights of Lights Trolley Tour this year!
What to Expect
The historic district, with its many businesses, homes, and public areas, will be draped in an estimated 3-million plus decorative lights that will have you thinking you just stepped into some enchanting fairy tale. So impressive is the city-wide effort that National Geographic has called the Annual Nights of Lights “one of the Top Ten places to see holiday lights.”
