9th Annual Jimmy Jam BBQ Slam

Outstanding BBQ competition, classic cars, cornhole championships, live music, arts and crafts – this event has it all!

What a great way to kick off the New Year—enjoy award-winning BBQ, feast your eyes on some classic cars and enjoy live music all day long. And while you’re having fun with friends and family, every dollar raised goes to meet the needs of local people who deserve a helping hand. It’s no wonder The Jimmy Jam BBQ Slam is one of the most popular events in the area.

Welcome to the Biggest BBQ Competition in North Florida, endorsed by the Kansas City BBQ Society

Enjoy the great lineup of events: KCBS Competition, Car Show, Cornhole Competition, BBQ Tastings, Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show, Live Music, Over 50 Local Vendors, Ninja Nation Obstacle Course, Kids Zone, Food Trucks, Cold Beer and Drinks, Raffle and Chili Cookoff.

People’s Choice: Free to enter, participants prepare People’s Choice entry meats prior to arrival at the contest. Entries will be served from 2-4 p.m. The big winner receives $2,000, plus a trophy. (Cash awards based on number of entries and cash awards to places second thru fifth as well.)

Enjoy the savory competition for Best Chicken Wings, Best Slider, Bloody Mary, Margarita, Best BBQ Sauce and the Kid’s Pork Loin Competition with trophies, ribbons and cash prizes—over $19,000 in payouts, based on number of entries! Award Ceremony at 5 p.m.

Cornhole and Vendors

Cornhole Competition: Registration begins at 10 a.m. ($25 per person, blind draw) and the tournament starts promptly at 11 a.m.

In addition to the cooking and cornhole competitions, more than 50 arts and crafts and food vendors will be featured throughout the event.

Car Show

Categories include Classic, Truck and Motorcycle. Trophies awarded in each category. Entry fee is $20 ($25 day of show).

Admission to the Jimmy Jam BBQ Slam is $10-$20 per person (free for ages 10 and under) FREE parking. Gates open at 10 a.m.
