The journey begins the moment we decide to go somewhere. So, where will you go?
We’ve got plenty of ideas on Florida’s Historic Coast. From authentic historic sites to pristine beaches and great outdoor experiences in nature, there’s something for every kind of traveler. And we know you’ve been waiting to make your plans.
If you haven’t been to Florida’s Historic Coast, welcome! If you have, welcome back! We missed you and we can’t wait to see you. In the meantime, we’ve wasted no time getting ready for you and making sure your visit will be a safe and memorable one.
St. Augustine & Ponte Vedra Beaches
Let’s start with our beautiful, Atlantic coast beaches—42 miles of some of the best in Florida—each with plenty of elbow room to stretch out, do some yoga or walk along on our white quartz sand, surf our pristine waters, or parasail high above it all.
Explore the Great Outdoors
We know you’ll want to be outdoors as much as possible. Fortunately, the outdoors is always in season, here. If you like to hike or bike, St. Augustine and Ponte Vedra Beach boast acres of natural reserves and forests and miles of trails to explore nature and reinvigorate your spirit. If you prefer to be on the water, try a paddleboard or kayak to meander at your leisure along the many estuaries and inlets—you just might come upon a curious dolphin or friendly manatee. Want a little more adventure? Take a hike up 219 steps to the top of the lighthouse for a breathtaking view. Or zipline over crocodiles!
Downtown St. Augustine
A stroll or trolley ride along the brick-lined streets of downtown St. Augustine will point the way to wonderful historic sites in the nation’s oldest city. Keep your eye out for charming historic inns that dot the Historic District. Be sure to stop at one of the many outdoor restaurants offering the freshest local-caught seafood and farm-to-fork cuisine anywhere. You’ll find plenty of attractions and tasting tours to lift your spirits. And whether you’re watching the sunset from a deck overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway or sitting under a canopy of stars in a secret garden, you’ll feel like you’re in another world, yet very much at home.
So, time to feel that excitement and anticipation again. Get inspired, get planning and book that perfect trip to take, when you’re ready. Let’s go there.
