Overview
Located six miles north of the Guana Dam, the Six Mile Landing provides serene flat-water paddling and fishing. It includes the upper end of Guana Lake: a unique saltwater lake that is created by the park staff letting water into the area on select high tides before shutting it off. The lake provides for excellent fishing as the fish pass through and get trapped inside once the north area fills up.
Six Mile Landing has a packed, crushed rock parking lot and a short concrete ramp. There are no facilities, only a porta-potty and there is no fee to park.
