The Magnolia Room at Ponce de Leon’s Fountain of Youth

The Magnolia Room is the newest addition to Florida’s First Coast, situated in the heart of the Oldest City’s most historic property, Ponce de Leon’s Fountain of Youth. Since 1868, we have welcomed millions of eager guests down picturesque Magnolia Avenue to experience the magic that resides in this special place. We now welcome you to experience our magic on a much more intimate level.

The original structure was built in 2012 as an “Old Florida” style open-air pavilion. In the summer of 2018, renovations began to completely enclose and modernize the space. The renovations were completed later that fall with new faux ceramic tile floors, ceiling height windows, retractable bay doors, and A/C. The end product has quickly become St. Augustine’s premier special event destination.

This unique meeting space is the perfect setting for productivity. 45 windows offer hours of natural light and panoramic views of lush Florida foliage and The Matanzas River. Daytime events during park hours give guests a chance to break away for a moment and explore the park while interacting with our living history demonstrations. Or perhaps unwind with a walk down the 600 ft Founder's Pier that offer direct sight lines to the St. Augustine Inlet, Porpoise Point, Anastasia State Park, The Lighthouse, The Bridge of Lions, and The Mission Cross. You will never want to go back to that hotel conference room after spending a day in The Magnolia Room at Ponce de Leon's Fountain of Youth.
