Fan of great food and chefs? Love tasting wine and hand-crafted spirits? Enjoy spending time outdoors in beautiful weather? This is the event you’ve been waiting for and hearing so much about. The St. Augustine Food + Wine Festival is an annual culinary celebration taking place in one of the country’s most beautiful and historic cities. The entire weekend is a showcase of culinary, beverage and culture that highlights celebrity guest chefs, celebrity winemakers/proprietors, local chefs, artisans and craft spirits/beers from locally crafted to global brand names. The festival offers a wide variety of events for all tastebuds, from wine dinners and tasting events, to master classes and more.
“One of Florida’s Top 10 Food and Wine Festivals” according to USA Today. The festival takes place May 7-11, 2025, with celebrity guest chefs, local chefs and beverage distillers. Enjoy over 400 varieties of unlimited wine, beer and spirits, live music, celebrity chef dinners, cooking master class demos and a variety of tasting events to please all kinds of tastes.
Wednesday, May 7, “River Walk Tastings”, in the historic district at San Sebastian Winery and the Homewood Suites St. Augustine San Sebastian, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m., with trolley shuttle, live music and food and drink tastings at both venues, with culinary tastings from Chef Norberto Jaramillo with La Cocina at The Cellar Upstairs. The progressive tasting tours begin at San Sebastian Winery.
Thursday, May 8, "Harvest Awards & Tasting", Hyatt Place St. Augustine/Vilano Beach, 117 Vilano Rd., 6:30-8:30 p.m. The Harvest Awards & Tastings offers a chance to sample some of Northeast Florida’s top restaurants in one location. Guests will receive a souvenir wine glass to enjoy a selection of wines, the festival’s official beverages, and premium tastings. Participating restaurants will compete for the prestigious Harvest Award, judged by a panel of culinary professionals. Each dish must feature a locally sourced ingredient, highlighting the region’s diverse foodways—from fresh seafood to seasonal and specialty crops.
Friday, May 9, “Smoke on the Walk,” Ancient City Homestead, 395 St. Marks Pond Rd., 6:30-8:30 p.m., Set against a picturesque spring sunset, this event highlights exceptional BBQ alongside tasting dishes from some of the Southeast’s most celebrated chefs. Guests can enjoy unlimited wine, beer, and spirit tastings with a souvenir glass included. Delicious bites and expertly crafted flavors make this an unforgettable evening of food and drink. *FREE parking, 21 & older only event, no pets allowed.
Saturday, May 10, "St. Augustine Food + Wine Festival, Grand Tasting”, Ancient City Homestead, 395 St. Marks Pond Rd., 2-5 p.m. The festival’s signature event, The Grand Tasting, is an all-inclusive culinary and beverage experience featuring over 300 varieties of wines, beers, and spirits, along with tastings from more than 20 award-winning regional restaurants. Guests will receive a souvenir glass to sample an exceptional selection of flavors. Set at the charming Ancient City Farmstead, the event offers live music, artisan and gourmet exhibitors, and the opportunity to vote in the People’s Choice Harvest Awards for the best tasting bites and sips. The Publix Cooking Demonstration Stage will feature top chefs and beverage experts, with limited tasting samples available for the first 100 attendees at each session. Relax with your favorite flavors while enjoying live performances by Laiken Love & The Fellowship of Love on the LocaliQ Music Stage. Guests can also bid on exclusive items in the Vilano Beach Main Street Silent Auction or take a chance in the Whiskey & Wine Pull for a special prize. *FREE parking, 21 & older only event, no pets allowed.
Sunday, May 11, “The Mother's Day Jazz Brunch” (Family-friendly event), Ancient City Homestead, 395 St. Marks Pond Rd., 11 a.m.-2 p.m., This Mother’s Day Jazz Brunch on the Lawn offers a perfect, relaxed finale to the festival—an unforgettable way to celebrate Mom with the entire family. This al fresco brunch features a wide variety of breakfast and lunch culinary stations. Guests can indulge in unlimited gourmet offerings, including a Bloody Mary Bar, Rosé Garden, Sparkling Station with Mimosas, and more. A souvenir glass allows for tastings of the festival’s most popular wines, beers, spirits, and specialty cocktails. Moms will receive a Mother’s Day Rose, and the entire family will enjoy an elevated dining experience with special touches throughout this celebratory event.
Ancient City Farmstead, San Sebastian Winery and the Hyatt Place, St. Augustine/Vilano Beach are the host location sites for the 2025 festival. Events in the historic district will take place at the San Sebastian Winery and Homewood Suites. Ancient City Farmstead is located 10 minutes north of historic downtown St. Augustine and the beaches. Florida’s largest city Jacksonville is located only 30 minutes away.
