Overview
Experience history at the Castillo de San Marcos' annual 1740 Siege Night event, "Enemy at the Gates." Visitors can join 40-minute tours departing every 15 minutes to witness living history demonstrations of the fort under British siege. Reenactors in period dress portray Spanish preparations for the attack, complete with cannon fire from the gundeck.
