Overview

Experience Fort Mose's living history, showcasing its pivotal role as the first free African settlement in the future United States. Follow a Freedom Seeker's daring escape to Spanish Florida, encountering allies and adversaries along the way. Learn Governor Montiano's vision behind Fort Mose and its critical role in defending against the 1740 British siege on St. Augustine. Programs run for 40 minutes departing at 6:30, 6:45, 7:00, 7:15, 7:30, and 7:45 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults (16+), $5 for children (6-15), and $1 for children (5 and under). 11 S.
