Grammy® Award-winning artist Macy Gray is celebrated for her distinctive raspy voice and genre-blending fusion of R&B, soul, and jazz. Since rising to fame with her 1999 hit “I Try,” she has released numerous critically acclaimed albums, captivating audiences with her raw emotion and eclectic artistry. Fort Mose Historic State Park host the 4th annual Fort Mose Jazz & Blues Series from February 6 to February 16. To honor the history and celebrate the cultural significance of Fort Mose, the Fort Mose Jazz & Blues Series will be comprised of six unforgettable performances over two weeks in February from some of the biggest names in their respective genres.
Proceeds of this series will support the construction of an on-site fort representation and development of additional interpretive resources. The original fort was destroyed during the Battle of Bloody Mose in 1740.
