For over 45 years, the Grammy® Award-winning Dirty Dozen Brass Band has redefined the New Orleans brass band tradition. Since their founding in 1977, they have fused the genre’s rich foundation with bebop jazz, funk, and R&B, creating a sound that continues to energize audiences worldwide.

Emerging from the vibrant streets of New Orleans, Sierra Green blends timeless soul with a modern edge. After securing residencies at the city’s top venues, she assembled The Giants, a handpicked group of elite musicians who bring her distinctive sound to life with captivating stage presence and undeniable energy. Fort Mose Historic State Park host the 4th annual Fort Mose Jazz & Blues Series from February 6 to February 16. To honor the history and celebrate the cultural significance of Fort Mose, the Fort Mose Jazz & Blues Series will be comprised of six unforgettable performances over two weeks in February from some of the biggest names in their respective genres.

Proceeds of this series will support the construction of an on-site fort representation and development of additional interpretive resources. The original fort was destroyed during the Battle of Bloody Mose in 1740.
