In celebration of the 150th Anniversary of the Lighthouse Tower, the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum presents History in the Shadow of the Tower, a lecture series exploring the city’s past. Historian Dr. Leslee Keys will discuss how Henry Flagler transformed St. Augustine and Florida’s East Coast through his railroads and luxury hotels, shaping the state’s tourism industry after the Civil War.
