Get in touch with nature and the outdoors on a Florida camping trip. From tent camping to RV campground options, Florida’s Historic Coast offers plenty of options for novice and experienced campers alike.
Anastasia State Park on Anastasia Island offers 129 campsites, including both tent and RV options. The campsites are just a short walk from our white sand beaches. Campground amenities include bathrooms and picnic areas, and kayak and SUP board rentals are available within the park. This campground is also within walking distance of the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, one of the best live music venues in the area.
The North Beach Camp Resort is located between the North River and the Atlantic Ocean for plenty of water-access. Guests will enjoy the well-shaded tent and RV campsites as well as cabin-rentals. The resort also offers access to the vistas and trails that lead into the surrounding Guana River to the west. And it is just a short walk to Aunt Kate’s restaurant, which serves delicious Southern fare and fresh seafood.
The popular Ocean Grove RV Resort offers tent camping, cabins for rent, and RV hookups for basic or luxury RVS. Ocean Grove is a short walk to the beach but also has a boat ramp with access to the Intracoastal water way and a fishing dock.
To get close to the beach and enjoy additional amenities, plan a stay at Bryn Mawr Ocean Resort. This campground has two pools, a dog park, and tennis courts.
At Faver-Dykes State Park, campers can bunk down under a canopy of natural vegetation and enjoy the refreshing natural spring. You can launch your small boat, kayak or canoe for a day of fishing on Pellicer Creek. Faver-Dykes State Park, is known for birdwatching, with plenty of resident songbirds and wading birds. The campground offers both tent and RV sites and bathrooms. For reservations and more information about each campground, we encourage you to visit the park website.
Just seven miles west of St. Augustine, you’ll find Stagecoach RV Park, offering amenities that include a heated bathhouse, full hook-ups, 30/50 amp service, propane, ice, laundry and a playground. The park is conveniently located near the outlet mall and Camping World.
Located 30 minutes from downtown St. Augustine, 4 Lakes Campground offers lake front and lake view full hook-up camp sites, propane, laundry, pickleball courts, a camp store, fishing and miles of walking trails. A shuttle to and from historic St. Augustine is offered daily and kayaking nearby Deep Creek is available through Deep Creek Paddles.
